Our Team

“Building companies and careers – we make a real difference in the lives of individuals and in the organizations we serve.”

Laura Piel, MBA, President
laura@jobsinarizona.com

Planning things and making them come together seamlessly comes naturally to Laura Piel. After a career in Marketing with the Olympic Games in Lake Placid, NY, and management for luxury resorts in Phoenix, Piel discovered her dream job—matching work ethic and skills to make businesses and people succeed. And she gets results.

Laura recognizes there is an art to working with each unique company, understanding its corporate culture as well as the requirements for open positions. She also possesses the keen instinct required in screening and selecting candidates for hiring organizations. She strives to find people who have more than just the required skills—they need to be a good fit overall, which helps assure they’ll be happy and productive.

Founded in 1994 on the principles of integrity, expertise and respect, Renaissance Personnel Group today serves a strong and growing corporate client base, and a flourishing network of talented people looking for their next career moves. Making lives and workplaces better is the lifework of Laura and her team at Renaissance Personnel Group.

Laura is a Phi Beta Kappa and honors graduate of St Lawrence University, a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and was awarded her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 1999. She is a 2010 graduate of the Ken Blanchard Executive MBA program at Grand Canyon University.

“I easily relate to the people who walk through our doors looking for someone to listen to them and allow them to grow. And, I empathize with companies desperate to find quality employees to help them go from good to great. Listening and learning are the two most important steps toward successful placements and client satisfaction.”

Holly Sandoval, Vice President
holly@jobsinarizona.com

Holly Sandoval is a producer. These days, instead of booking talent for the television show, Fox 10 Arizona Morning, she produces results for new and existing client companies. Holly joined Renaissance Personnel Group in 2004 and has built long-term relationships with key businesses throughout the Phoenix metro area. She knows talent when she sees it.

By listening to what people are really saying, learning about different industries and cultures, sharing ideas, and turning problems into opportunities, Holly effectively leads companies and their employees through workplace transitions. “Change for the better – It’s really about bringing together values and work ethic,” she says.

Holly graduated with honors from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.

“Renaissance is not a career path that I chose; it chose me. My ‘plan’ was never to become a recruiter but once I started, I couldn’t stop. I enjoy knowing that I helped someone better themselves by bettering their current job situation. It is a great feeling knowing that we have the power to shape companies and shape lives.”

Lauren Crider, Account Manager
lauren@jobsinarizona.com

These days, helping business people team up for performance excellence is the movement that holds her interest. Serving a wide range of client companies, Lauren’s favorite job assignment is pairing high level executive assistants with senior executives who need help. She’s also active in client development and systems improvement.

“I came to Renaissance as a candidate looking for a job and found a new career. Recruiting is the most rewarding job I’ve ever experienced. Every day I positively change peoples’ lives.”

Denise Webster, Recruiting Manager
denise@jobsinarizona.com

A likable personality and the ability to engage with people are strengths Denise used throughout her career in sales, office management and as an executive assistant to high level executives in Arizona and Connecticut. That’s why she fit in so perfectly with Renaissance Personnel Group. She is responsible for finding and screening candidates who have that special something that sets them apart. It’s the Renaissance standard.

Denise has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York.
