Seeking a Controller to handle all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation for a commercial construction company.
Provide oversight of reporting and functional accounting processes
Manage accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
Provide financial analysis of project accounting including labor and expense variances
Perform month-end close – accruals, general ledger account reconciliations and journal entries
Work with other departments to ensure the timely processing of financial transactions – subcontracts, invoices, change orders
Maintain and document internal financial controls and accounting procedures
Preparation of consolidated financial statements
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Delegate project-based work to office staff
Requirements:
Must have at least 3+ years of construction accounting experience
Experience with job costing and WIP required
Working knowledge of Sage 300 or SAP
Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
$110,000 – $140,000 DOE + Full Benefits On-site position in Scottsdale
