Job Description

Human Resources Manager needed to oversee the daily HR operations and personnel for Scottsdale pharmaceutical company. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for workforce planning, recruiting and onboarding, benefits and leave administration, legal compliance, as well as employee relations, engagement, and development for approximately 100 employees.  


  • Work with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, conduct compensation research, and work to fill requisitions
  • Post job advertisements, source and screen candidates, and work with hiring manager to conduct interviews
  • Present offers, negotiate employment terms, complete new hire paperwork, and complete the onboarding process
  • Benefits Administration – provide comprehensive support to new hires and existing employees through orientation to benefits programs, open enrollment, and new hire enrollment in benefits programs
  • Resolve benefits inquiries on behalf of employees
  • Work alongside and/or manage multi-state payroll function for all employees, including sales commission calculations, garnishments, taxes, etc.
  • Administer PTO, sick leave, FMLA, 401k plan, disability, worker’s compensation, etc
  • Manage HRIS system and maintain employee records
  • Employee Relations – provide active support of employees to ensure positive work culture and environment, conduct investigations, advise on next steps
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Compile reports – tax reports, deduction reports, OSHA reports, and others
  • Make recommendations regarding employee performance and training needs
  • Partner with management to improve and implement policies and procedures


  • 5-7 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Proficient in ADP Workforce Now required
  • Experience supporting HR functions for national field sales teams a plus
  • Payroll experience strongly preferred

On-Site Position in Scottsdale

$90,000 + Depending on Experience
